Five-Fold Ministry - The Foundation

2026/2027 Pathway to Impact

The Five-Fold Ministry is the foundational year of Convergence School of Supernatural Ministry. Everything we do flows from this year of equipping. If you haven’t completed the Five-Fold Ministry year, this is where your journey begins.

Throughout the year, you’ll discover God’s design for apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, not simply as church offices, but as gifts Jesus gave to equip every believer for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4). You’ll gain a biblical understanding of each ministry gift, learn how they work together to strengthen the Body of Christ, and identify how God has uniquely designed and called you.

More than just gaining knowledge, you’ll be challenged to step into activation. Through practical ministry opportunities, discussion, impartation, and hands-on experiences, you’ll grow in hearing God’s voice, ministering to others, discovering your spiritual gifts, and building confidence to live a naturally supernatural lifestyle.

We also believe the Five-Fold extends far beyond the walls of the church. Whether God has called you to business, education, government, healthcare, the arts, science, the marketplace, or vocational ministry, the Five-Fold equips believers to bring the Kingdom of God into every sphere of influence. Wherever God has placed you, He intends for you to carry His presence, demonstrate His love, and influence the culture around you.

Our desire is that by the end of this year, you won’t simply know more about the Five-Fold Ministry, you’ll have greater confidence in who God created you to be, a deeper understanding of your Kingdom assignment, and practical tools to live on mission every day. We believe God transforms people who then transform culture, and this foundational year is designed to equip you for both.


The Five-Fold year is broken into six-week modules; after each module, there is a two-week break before the next module begins. The year will be as follows:

CSSM is a fast-paced season of equipping designed for those already walking at a high level of personal accountability and discipline.  We have a culture of faith and risk; students must be open to getting stretched outside their comfort zone. Our school is not information-only. We are an experiential school; learning comes through doing.

The school is multi-generational. One of Convergence's core values is honor, and one way to achieve this is by bringing the generations together and teaching every age group to value and serve one another.

On Mission

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Five-Fold Ministry Year

On Mission is about putting the Five-Fold foundation into action. This year we will discover what it means to live on mission by understanding God’s story, our place in it, and our assignment to bring His Kingdom into our community. During the first three quarters, we’ll deep-dive into what Jesus accomplished to secure the Church’s victory, the Church’s role in reconciling people to God, and why there is a spiritual battle in the first place. As we study the biblical narrative, you’ll discover how it shapes the way we minister to people.

Simply put, you will learn to:

  •          Know your God
  •          Know yourself
  •          Know your enemy
  •          Know your task
  •          Know your team

Knowing is only the beginning. It’s what you do with that knowledge that advances the Kingdom. We believe the Holy Spirit will deepen your awareness of King Jesus, increase your value for people, and give you greater confidence and boldness in ministry.

Throughout the year, we’ll also explore the rich biblical and revival history of Greensboro and the surrounding region. Through teaching, research, and hands-on discovery, we’ll uncover the significant ways God has moved on this land throughout history and consider what He desires to do here today. Rather than simply studying history, we’ll allow it to fuel faith for the future.

 

The vision for this year culminates in students leading revival tours throughout Greensboro, sharing our region’s spiritual heritage, building relationships within community, and inviting others to see how God’s faithfulness in the past points to what He is doing today.
